I initially decided to interview as many people as I could, and show the world that the 300+ member RLSH world isn't what most people would imagine - that "dorks in tights" stereotype some readers have asked me about. Over the course of my research, it took on a life of its own and veered drastically off its initial course. Fortunately I was able to make an entirely new and much more interesting project developed from the triumphs and trials I faced in my research.
